Peter Palandjian,Chairman and CEO
Peter Palandjian, as Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and President, oversees the affiliated Intercontinental operating companies, with primary responsibility for strategic planning and direction of all company activities. Mr. Palandjian is a member of Intercontinental’s Investment and Executive Committees.
Prior to joining Intercontinental in 1993, Mr. Palandjian worked as the assistant to the CEO of Staples, Inc. and as an Associate Consultant with Bain & Company.
Mr. Palandjian holds memberships with the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA); the New England Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP); and the National Association of Real Estate Investment Managers (NAREIM). Mr. Palandjian has also been active on a number of corporate and not-for-profit boards. He presently serves as a board member of several institutions including: Dana Farber Cancer Institute; O’Neill and Associates; Leader Bank; Harvard’s Varsity Club; the Taubman Center at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, and the Purple Heart Service Foundation. Mr. Palandjian is also Trustee Emeritus at The Fessenden School.
Mr. Palandjian works on behalf of Harvard University as a volunteer undergraduate admissions interviewer. Mr. Palandjian was a two-time Harvard Captain and world ranked tennis player on the ATP tour. Mr. Palandjian, born 1964, earned his B.A. from Harvard University in 1987 and his M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School in 1993.
Paul J. Nasser,Chief Financial Officer & Chief Operating Officer
Paul J. Nasser is responsible for managing the firm's resources across investment and operating disciplines. As Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Intercontinental, he is a member of the Executive Committee, Investment Committee, Valuation Committee, and oversees Performance Reporting, Investor Relations, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Technology and Administration.
Prior to joining Intercontinental in 2000, Paul Nasser was Senior Vice President and Team Leader in Fleet's Real Estate Finance Group handling a real estate portfolio of over $1 billion. In this capacity, Mr. Nasser managed construction and acquisition loans, private placements, mezzanine debt, retail real estate, REITs and residential real estate development. Before joining Fleet in 1991, he held various senior management positions in the banking industry.
Active in many civic and charitable organizations, Mr. Nasser is on the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP); is on the Board of Directors for the Greater Boston Board of Real Estate Finance Association (REFA); and Mr. Nasser serves as the Vice Chairman for St. John’s Preparatory School, Danvers, MA. Mr. Nasser holds memberships with the Treasurer's Club of Boston, National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries (NCREIF), National Association of Real Estate Investment Managers (NAREIM); and the Pension Real Estate Advisory (PREA). Mr. Nasser was the former Chairman of the Advisory Board for St. John the Evangelist School, former Chairman and President of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties Massachusetts Chapter, former President of the Greater Boston Board of Real Estate Finance Association (REFA), former member of the National Board of Directors of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), and former member of the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of Eastern Massachusetts. In 2015, Mr. Nasser was named the CFO of the Year for Midsize Private Companies by the Boston Business Journal. Mr. Nasser is a guest lecturer at the University of New Hampshire, Boston University and Roger Williams University.

Thomas R. Taranto Jr.,Chief Investment Officer
Thomas R. Taranto, Jr. is the Chief Investment Officer and is a member of Intercontinental's Executive and Investment Committees. Mr. Taranto oversees all of Intercontinental’s acquisition and disposition activities and is responsible for overseeing all Fund’s resources, strategic direction, investment strategy and Portfolio and Asset Management initiatives. He is also responsible for managing joint venture relations.
Mr. Taranto joined Intercontinental in 1984 and currently directs a staff of approximately 30 acquisition, portfolio and asset/property managers. In addition, he oversees the commercial, residential and leasing departments and is responsible for approving the annual budget and business plan for each asset. Mr. Taranto also develops and implements all new operating procedures for Intercontinental’s affiliated holdings.
Mr. Taranto received his BS in Business Management from Bentley University in 1985 and is a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), National Association of Real Estate Investment Managers (NAREIM) and National Council of Real Estate Fiduciaries (NCREIF).email@example.com
