Intercontinental Recognized at 2009 Corporate Citizenship Summit

For its civic contributions to the city of Boston, Intercontinental was recognized at the 2009 Corporate Citizenship Summit hosted by the Boston Business Journal.  Honorees were evaluated for both hours volunteered on behalf of employees and dollars contributed to nonprofit organizations within the community.

Intercontinental advisory board member Tom O’Neill was also recognized at the September 11, 2009 event, with a special award citing his company’s partnership with PricewaterhouseCoopers to lower the high school dropout rate in MA.  Another ceremony highlight featured honoree Jim Koch of Boston Beer Co. (Sam Adams) accepting his award with a beer in hand and toasting the audience of more than 800 . . . It was 8:30 a.m.
