Intercontinental Hosts Junior Achievement Students

Intercontinental Real Estate Corporation (“Intercontinental”) a national real estate investment, development and management firm headquartered in Boston, MA, hosted 18 students in support of Junior Achievement’s Annual Job Shadow Day.  The students, all in grade six, attend Saint Columbkille School in Brighton, MA.

Paul Nasser, Intercontinental’s CFO and Chief Operating Officer welcomed the group, giving a detailed description of the company and how the different departments work together to create one cohesive team.  Employees from all departments volunteered their day to the program.  Following the company and industry overview, students were paired with Intercontinental employees to learn about the specific roles and responsibilities of individuals at the company.  The program is designed to encourage young students to create connections between the skills they are learning in school and the skills necessary to succeed in the workplace.  The students are exposed to the real estate industry and many gain a newfound interest in pursuing studies or a career in a similar line of work.  Intercontinental hosts students from Saint Columbkille School every year and is dedicated to helping shape today’s youth.
