Christopher Boehm is responsible for Intercontinental’s financial analysis, research and due diligence as it relates to the company’s development, acquisition and disposition activities.  In this role, he performs feasibility studies, quantitative due diligence and in-depth analysis of all types of real estate investment opportunities and financings.  He also conducts real estate and economic research for the firm.   He serves as the firm’s Chief Compliance Officer responsible for ensuring Intercontinental’s compliance with the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and all related SEC regulations.  Prior to joining Intercontinental, Mr. Boehm was Vice President of Project Finance for Winn Companies in Boston, MA where he managed financial analysis, lender and joint venture relations, and coordinated with public agencies, concentrating primarily on a 1.4 million square foot mixed-use air rights development.  Mr. Boehm has also served as Manager of Finance at Gilbane Properties in Providence, RI, as a Senior Associate in the Structured Finance Group at Spaulding & Slye Colliers in Boston, MA, and as Manager of Finance at The Taubman Company in Bloomfield Hills, MI.  Mr. Boehm has participated in finance, accounting, acquisitions, feasibility analysis, and treasury activities in the real estate industry since 1995.   

Mr. Boehm holds a BA from Northwestern University and an MBA in Real Estate and Entrepreneurship from Indiana University.  Mr. Boehm is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, NAIOP; a former Director of the Shrewsbury Development Corporation, an economic and real estate development corporation based in Shrewsbury, MA; and is a Board Member of the Worcester Jewish Community Center in Worcester, MA.
