Nick McParland is responsible for establishing and maintaining Intercontinental's client and consultant relationships with a primary focus on the Taft-Hartley sector. Prior to joining Intercontinental, Mr. McParland was Senior Vice President in the Private Placements Group at Macquarie Capital where he was responsible for managing relationships with current and potential investors and their consultants with a specific focus on Taft-Hartley and public funds. Before his work at Macquarie Capital, Mr. McParland worked for 10 years at CIGNA Retirement and Investment Services and, subsequently for Prudential Financial after their acquisition of the CIGNA business.

Mr. McParland received his BA from St. Lawrence University.
